DEMOLITION

Pelikan has a direct involvement in Turkish ship-breaking industry as well as Indian, Bangladeshi and Chinese demolition yards. We work with first class well known cash buyers with whom we developed our relationships over the years by making number of sales together. Each buyer has their own contract terms but there are certain points which the seller should pay a special attention when selling their vessels to demolition. We would be pleased to offer our expertise to you on this field.

While we have some buyers who may consider taking delivery of your vsls on ‘as is where is’ basis, most of demo buyers preference would be for dely in one of the following countries:

SHIP FINANCE

We have developed very good relationships over the years with most of the Turkish Banks who are active in financing shipping transactions. We also have good friends from some of the European banks who are also specialized in shipping. If you require a finance for your shipping project, we would be happy to work for you to generate a bank loan from those banks. If you have a newbuilding project, we also work on the possibility of Exim Banks involvement into the deal.

We will need a mandate from you in order to start working on your financing of the vessel. It would be better if we combine it with the purchase of the vessel.
